Google launches ‘The Doodle Champion Island’ for Tokyo Olympics
Google has been celebrating the Tokyo Olympics with the use of animated games on its homepage. This is a change from the hugely well known ‘Google Doodles’. The Multi-sport event is currently being held from July 23rd to August 8th in Tokyo. In true community spirit gamers, all over gathered to join in the anime-inspired fun.
Today marks Day 3 of the Olympics in full swing with the game on google being based on Archery, called Speed run! This coming week will see a new game every day in a bid to help the main character, Athlete Lucky as she explores the Doodle Champion Island. As stated on the Google website, your goal is to “Defeat each sport Champion to collect all seven sacred scrolls and complete extra hidden challenges across Champion Island in the purrr-ocess.”
These Google Doodles have been made in partnership with Tokyo-based animation studio, STUDIO 4°C.
