I am currently seeking a Senior Data Delivery Manager for a permanent opportunity with my client in Hertfordshire.

Package:

  • £80,000-95,000 + up to 30% annual bonus (very high 10-year average!)

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to defining the data technology strategy bearing in mind people, products and processes
  • Deliver technical solutions through design, build, test, release and support
  • Management of in-house data delivery team members including Business Analysts and Data Architects
  • Act as the point of contact for Programme and Project Managers in relation to data delivery
  • Actively participate in the management community - sharing and re-applying skills & knowledge and bringing in best practice
  • Take responsibility for delivering within agreed timescales and budgets

Key Requirements

  • Proven portfolio and financial management experience, gained in a data/analytics environment
  • Solid understanding of Big Data and Business Intelligence platforms and tools
  • A successful track record working with technical teams including Infrastructure, Development and Test teams to deliver change at an enterprise level
  • In depth understanding of data principles e.g. different life cycle models, structured methodologies, coding standards, their importance and the benefits they bring
  • Experienced in management and influencing in a matrix organisation
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience of management in an agile environment working with architecture, development and testing teams and with a sound understanding of SDLC
  • Ability to understand and challenge the architecture and implementation when needed
  • A good knowledge and understanding of total cost of ownership of IT assets and functions and the ability to present and manage trade-offs
  • Can command respect such that they can successfully challenge the status quo
  • The ability to form strong, mutual and professional business relationships with external partners and suppliers
  • Ideally a hands-on background

I am currently seeking a Lead Data Insight Analyst for a permanent job opportunity with my client Milton Keynes.

This organisation is an international performance improvement business specialising in engagement, sales incentives and event management solutions.

The Lead Data Insight Analyst will take responsibility for data insight analysis for a handful of well-known businesses in the client's portfolio. You will take part in strategy meetings and offer expertise at all stages from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Responsibility for complex, analytical projects through analysing and combining multiple data sources (internal and external) in order to identify and create new, valuable and accurate data sets, investigating inconsistencies
  • Performance Reporting: Running and managing reporting and post-campaign analysis delivering actionable insights and recommendations from these in order to continually develop, evolve and improve programmes
  • Output Generation/Visualization: Use Power BI to uncover insight, trends and patterns in programme data which will add value to customer and client campaigns. Prepare and present compelling and impactful analysis and findings to internal teams and clients using language and terms which can be easily understood by the audience addressed

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience in databases and analytical tools (Power BI, SPSS, SQL & R)
  • Experience with statistical techniques (regression models, clustering, statistical tests)
  • Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and understand user behaviour to identify problems and provide solutions
  • Extensive experience in data analysis and customer insight with the proven ability to explore business performance and then position analysis to address commercial and strategic questions
  • Experience of or at least knowledge, of packages or approaches to displaying data and outcomes in an interesting and engaging way
  • Experience of leading a small team
