Average digital salaries have increased
What better way to start than with great news like this! There was definitely more uncertainty in the air last year. Some respondents were not quite sure if they would see a pay rise. Thankfully, this uncertainty has been alleviated. Salaries have increased from an average of £55,335 in 2021 to £60,310. Our report also outlines the latest salary benchmarks by job title and seniority. Download the full report to find out if your salary matches up.
Remote and Hybrid working
When the pandemic began, the world was thrust into a remote working setup. It became clear that many appreciated the time they got back without a commute to contend with. To attract and retain talent, many companies are getting on board with a hybrid working model. Our respondents shared that 36% work 1-2 days in the office, while 15% work 1-2 days from home. Interestingly, 42% are still fully remote. There are plenty more insights regarding the impact of Covid-19, which are available in the full report.
Happiness in the digital industry
The huge changes in the way we work mean happiness and mental health are more important than ever. We asked respondents ‘How happy are you in your current role?’ on a scale of 1 to 100. Has happiness improved?
The results show that the average number is 70/100, an improvement on last year’s result of 63/100. We hope that this will continue to move in the right direction, with a happy digital industry looking forward to a brighter working life!
